These small energy balls consist of only three ingredients: dates, almonds and cocoa. They are a healthy alternative to snacking and without additives, which is why they are also ideal for allergy sufferers children. From the indicated amount you get about 30 small balls, which are durable in the fridge for a few days.
They are easy to make and children can help shape and train their fingering skills. Tip: You can also hand them over as a gift, beautifully packaged!

First, you weigh 200g of seedless dates.
Then you weigh 80g of whole almonds.
Now, together with 2 heaped tablespoons of cocoa, you pour them into a bowl (e.g. Thermomix) and puree the ingredients.
Set the thermomix to level 8 for at least 20 seconds.Attention: that's very loud!
At first, the mixture is still very dry. Mix until the mixture becomes sticky.
Then you fill the mixture into a smaller bowl and press it firmly into it with the spoon. This makes the mixture easier to connect and is no longer so crumbly.
Now you share a small amount with a teaspoon, which you squeeze together with your fingers and form into the ball.
Roll the mass in your palms to the ball. If the ball breaks apart again, squeeze it firmly again.
This is how the individual energy balls are created.
Now put the energy-rich balls in the refrigerator until consumption.
Idea: Rolls the balls afterwards e.g. still in coconut rasp.
