On the occasion of this year's World Children's Day we want to celebrate! For this we have prepared a lantern for you. You can use it e.g. as decoration or as a gift.
All you need is an empty glass, a print template, some oil and a brush.
It starts with lots of fun and colorful colors. There are no limits to your imagination.
Stay creative and curious! Ahoi!
Print a banderole first.
Prints the template in the appropriate size. Some glasses are smaller, others larger. You can also cut the templates in the appropriate size.
Take the different sizes and hold them to the glass. So you can take measurements and see which one fits best.
Cut the template so that it fits well to the size of your glass. Maybe you have to cut a strip down and up.
Next you paint your template colorful. For this, crayons are best. Felt pens are less suitable.
Now you get the kitchen crepe, a brush and a teaspoon of cooking oil in a small glass.
Now you put the banderoles with the painted side down on the kitchen crepe.
With the brush you now apply the oil to the paper (the back). The paper becomes transparent immediately.
Excess oil wipes her off with a kitchen crepe.
Now you put the banderoles around the glass and fix them with a transparent adhesive tape.
? You can cut off the adhesive tape and carefully stick it to the edge of the table. So you have it at hand if you need it.
Here you see the paper strip with the glue.
? If one adhesive tape is not enough, add another adhesive tape.
The wind is ready.
