This snowdrop is easy to craft with this illustrated instruction. A plastic snowdrop is created from a green pipe cleaner and white wool in no time. The blossom of the snowdrop consists of wool and a pipe cleaner serves as a stalk and leaf. For younger children, variant 1 is suitable, where you put the finished snowdrop into a filled container. For older children, who can handle the hot glue gun already, variant 2 is suitable. Here the flower is glued onto a screw glass lid. Stay creative and have fun decorating!
Media Education for Kindergarten and Hort
Relief in everyday life, targeted promotion of individual children, independent learning and - without any pre-knowledge already usable by the youngest!
First wrap a cardboard roll several times with a white wool thread.
Alternatively, you wrap the wool by two fingers.
Then you push the thread bundle from the cardboard roll. Leave the thread bundle as a ring.
Now you put the pipe cleaner through the ring of wool. The pipe cleaner stands on one side about 5cm above. Afterwards you cut off another piece of wool in the length of 10 cm.
Now put the short thread under the ring; just below the pipe cleaner. Then tie the thread around the ring and knot it twice.
Then cut the ring at the bottom. This creates the blossom of the snowdrop.
Now you shorten the threads to the same length. Hold the thread bundle with one hand.
Then bend the short end of the pipe cleaner to the long end and twist both wires together. Then bend them apart again.
Now you bend the long pipe cleaner wire half upwards and this again half downwards. Thus a leaf is created.
Cuts the threads of the flower a little bit shorter now.
The finished snowdrop can now be fixed in two ways.
Idea 1: Take a small container, such as a tealight glass or a small flower pot, and fill it with small stones. Then you put the snowdrop in it.
Your snowdrop is ready! A beautiful decoration for the table or the window sill.
For this purpose you drip some hot glue onto the inside of a screw glass lid. Be careful when handling the hot glue - risk of injury!
On this sticky point you now attach the snowdrop. For this hold it briefly after the stick on.
Then you fill the stones in the lid around the snowdrop. So the snowdrop is stable.
Uses the snowdrop as decoration on the spring table, for example.
Have fun trying it out!
