The children wash their hands and put on an apron.
Together we provide all the ingredients and then weigh them off. The children can help with weighing, bigger children can, for example, open the eggs.
Mix flour with sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
Mix the eggs with the margarine. Then add the flour mixture and milk. Mix only until all the ingredients are moist.
Tip: Just make your favorite muffin dough! Use a little less sugar, as the marshmallows provide an extra dose of sweetness.
Fill the dough with a spoonful into the waffle cups.
Possibly distribute the remaining dough in a muffin form.
Now put a marshmallow on each waffle cup and gently push it in.
Bake the muffins in the preheated oven to 180 degrees for about 20-25 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool briefly. Then remove the muffins from the mould and let them cool completely.
If the muffins are cold, the chocolate glaze heats up. This works in the microwave or you put the glaze in a cup and warm it in a pot of hot water.
Paint the glaze onto the muffins and decorate with other marshmallows.
