First you make the dough:
For this, you weigh all the ingredients or into the mixing pot and mix them 1 1/2 minutes at level 3-4.
The dough must be viscous. If it is too solid, add some milk.
First weighs and messes all the ingredients. Then stir the margarine and sugar frothy and then add the eggs. Then mix the flour with the baking powder and milk alternately.
The dough must be tough.
Now you put with two teaspoons small heaps on a sheet with baking paper. For this you pick up the dough with one spoon and with the other you strip it on the baking sheet. Keep distance between the Americans, as they still open when baking.
Tip: Dive the two teaspoons again and again into a cup of water for portioning. The dough glides more easily from the spoon.
After about 10 minutes, you can check if the Americans get slightly brown at the bottom. Then they're done!
Attention: Do not leave them in the oven any longer, otherwise they taste dry.
Turns all Americans after baking so that the bottoms point upwards.
Now you let them cool down for about 10 minutes.
For the glaze, mix the powdered sugar with lemon juice.
The lemon glaze should be thick liquid, so that the Americans get a nice white glaze. Possibly take some lemon juice or some powder sugar.
Now rubs the straight side with lemon glaze.
Place the brush in the middle of the pastry and brush the glaze outwards.
This creates a uniform white glaze.
Now the glazed Americans need at least 5 minutes to dry.
In the meantime, you melt the chocolate glaze. For this, fill the chocolate in a cup and put it briefly in the microwave. Alternatively, put the cup in a pot of hot water.
Then you brush the liquid chocolate onto half of the Americans.
First mark the middle and brush the glaze from the middle to the outside.
The Americans are ready.
Tip: First, give all Americans complete lemon glaze. The chocolate casting comes on top of it. The reason is that only the lemon glaze makes the pastry so juicy.
Cover the Americans with a cake hood or aluminium foil after glazing. Then they remain wonderfully juicy.
Serve them fresh, because they taste best!
Enjoy baking!
If you make the dough more liquid, the Americans will melt stronger, become more evenly round, but also flatter. That's why we like it a little bit smaller and thicker.
Try out what you like and taste better!
