AdventurerKatziThis little mushroom made of an egg and half a tomato embellishes every buffet. It is also a highlight as a decoration for the garden party or as a lucky charm on the New Year's table.
The eye eats with and also children's eyes shine at the sight of food, which is beautifully prepared. With this fungus the children can help and thus often taste food, which otherwise does not like to be eaten. Try it out.
First, bring the water to the boil in a pot. Place the egg with a spoon in the boiling water and let it cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
Attention: Children should not do this alone - risk of injury!
Then remove the egg from the water and cool it in cold water.
After that, you peel the egg.
Now you wash a large tomato and remove the stalk.
Then you cut the tomato in half with a knife.
With a teaspoon you now carefully release the inside of the tomato.
For this you drive along the inside with a teaspoon.
Once you've driven around, you lift the inside out with the spoon.
The remainder remains a broad rim of flesh.
Now put the peeled egg in an egg cup.
Then you put the hollowed-out tomato half over the egg.
Now you put some mayonnaise on the tomato with the tip of a knife.
Now put some washed lettuce leaves around the egg cup.
Alternatively, you can decorate the mushroom without an egg cup on a few salad leaves.
