"Like cat and mouse" are created from socks that we show you here. This cat and mouse are a craft project for children who like to make their toys themselves and bring in ideas. From a single sock - whether black, brown, grey or white - a cat or a mouse is created with little material in no time. Maybe you are making an entire cat family right away? Or is the cat hunting the mice?
For an animal you fill a sock with rice. Next to it you need two wobble eyes, a button, some wool, a few paper remnants and a pipe cleaner.
Are you ready for a purring offer? Then start right away and have a lot of fun!

First find all the materials together and put out your craft pad. The black sock can be long or short, large or small. The amount of rice you need to fill depends on the size of the sock.
Then you put the sock in a glass with the tip ahead and slip the waistband of the sock over the edge of the glass. So you can fill the sock without holding it.
Now fill rice with a spoon into the sock. If the sock is bulging and filled to the edge of the glass, take it out of the glass.
Now close the upper end with a household rubber. The cat's body is ready.
For the cat's ears, fold a wide strip of black clay paper in the middle.
Then you paint a wide cat's ear and then cut it out. The paper is double. Then you cut each ear on the straight side in the middle, until about half one.
Now you paint in the inside of the ear with a white crayon. After that, you glue the incisions slightly above each other with each ear. That's how the two cat ears are created.
Uses wobble eyes for the cat's eyes and creates cat's eyes. Folds a white piece of paper in half. Now place the wobble eye on it and paint a cat's eye on it.
Tip: The shape of the eye is like a drop!
Then cut out the eye. The paper is double. Then stick the wobble eyes in the roundings. Then stick the eyes with the tips outward to the front part of the sock.
For this you cut off 3 wool threads each with a length of about 5 cm. Bind or stick them together in the middle. Afterwards you stick a button over the middle of the wool threads. The nose of the cat is finished with the whiskers.
Now stick the cat's nose on the rice-filled sock.
For this you fold a pipe cleaner in the middle. Then you turn the two parts into each other, so that a thicker pipe cleaner arises. Put this as a tail of the cat into the sock and bend the overhanging end of the sock down.
Finally, stick to the overhanging end of the sock on the bottom.
The sock cat is ready.
For this purpose you use a white, brown or grey sock. When filling, make sure that the body becomes elongated. For the eyes you only use the wobble eyes and the ears snd smaller than with the cat. Try it out!
Stay creative and enjoy playing!
