This sock penguin was born from an old sock. A sock that eventually remained as a loner. Filled with rice, it forms the body of the penguin. All other parts such as eyes, beak, belly, wings and feet are printed out as a template or painted on you. Afterwards, you stick the individual parts accordingly to the body. The little sock penguin is suitable for playing, but also as a gift or for decorating.

Get all the materials ready first.
First you need the black sock and an empty screw glass.
Put the socks in the glass and slip the edge of the socks over the glass edge to the outside. So you can fill the sock easily.
Now fill with a spoon of rice in the sock. Press the rice firmly down with your fingers again and again. This makes the penguin more stable.
As soon as the sock is well filled, take the sock out of the glass and close it with a household rubber. Wrap the household rubber around several times. If there is still too much space in the sock, fill in some rice.
Make sure that the penguin's body is rather elongated and tries whether it can stand free on its own.
Then you need the template or you paint the parts accordingly.
Then you paint the items in color.
Tip: If you have felt residue or colored paper, you can also use it.
Cuts out all the items afterwards.
Now you put the big white paper on your body.
Then slips a household rubber over the body so that it is fixed.
Then you press the belly in the narrow part of the paper a little with your hands.
Now stroke glue under the white paper and press it firmly.
Then you stick the wings to the right and left of the body. For this you place a glue point at the upper end of the wings and then push them firmly to the body.
The feet stick to her under the body. For this, you put a glue point at the rear rounding of the foot, on which you then put the body.
Finally, glues the eyes and the beak on.
Now you put the penguin upright and put it in position so that the penguin doesn't fall over. Pull the edge of the sock apart. Maybe you can shorten it a bit.
Attention: With a sneaker socks the pommel is very short!
This is what it looks like when you paint the white part of the belly freely and use shaggy eyes.
Use materials you have at home. You can also design the penguin with felt or clay paper.
Stay creative!
