First, the puff pastry rolls apart.
Then a piece of puff pastry cuts off in the width of about 15cm.
Or you divide the puff pastry into about three equally large parts.
Now fold the dough edge inwards from left and right.
Attention: do not push down the fracture.
The edges of the dough meet in the middle.
Now the dough is folded again in the middle after the length.
Now you cut this dough roll into strips and put it on a sheet.
Don't squeeze the part together!
Now put each piece of dough on its cut edge on a baking sheet with baking paper. Leave some space between the parts, as the pig ears open when baking.
Now it bakes at 180 degrees for about 10 minutes.
Then make a glaze out of lemon juice and powdered sugar. Stirs the glaze until it is completely smooth.
As soon as the pig ears are cooled down, gently brush the seats of the ears with the powdered sugar glaze.
The pig's ears are ready.
They are perfect as finger food. For example for cocoa in the afternoon, as a gift for New Year or for birthday.
Have fun trying it out!
