You can make them from packaging paper, baking paper or newspaper and thus get an environmentally friendly tape, cord or cord, which can even be shaped with an inside flower wire. It is suitable as a gift ribbon, for decoration e.g. a pumpkin or as a handle for a lantern. Let's go and have fun!
Place your craft pad on the table and prepare all the materials.
Cut off a strip of paper in the length that your cord should have at the end approximately. The strip should be about 3cm wide.
Prepare a thin wire.
Measure the wire in the length of the paper strip and leave it 5cm longer on both sides.
Seasons the wire with a wire shear or pliers.
Now you've prepared everything.
Fold the whole length of the paper strip to half.
Strip the rupture smoothly.
Put the wire in the folded strips of paper.
Now bend the open edge again so that the wire remains inside the strip.
The overhanging wire is still looking out.
Bend the wire and put the beginning of the wire under the paper.
Now twist the paper in such a way that a twisted even cord is created.
When twisting, make sure that the paper does not tear. If it is difficult to rotate, the paper presses together several times. So it is not so rigid anymore.
5cm before the end of the strip, the end of the wire must be bent inwards.
The end of the wire is turned into the paper.
So there are no sharp ends.
Turns the end very well.
The paper line is finished with wire.
The wire cord is particularly suitable for turning it as a spiral.
Take a pen and the paper wire.
Wrap the paper wire tightly around the pen.
Push the completely wrapped paper wire tightly together.
Now it can be completely pushed off the pen.
The spiral paper line is ready.
Versatile as embellishment for a gift or for floral decoration.
Can also be used as a tendril for a deco-cutle.
