Without much effort you can make them from wooden blocks. Use small wooden blocks and print, write or glue them with the names of the crib figures.

You can use the wooden stones of an old stacking tower or saw your own wooden blocks from a wooden strip.
The number of wooden blocks depends on how many crib figures you want for your crib:
- Joseph
- Mary
- Child Jesus or crib
- Angels
- Shepherd
- Oxie
- Donkey
- 2 sheep
- 3 Kings
There are several ways to label the wooden blocks.
For example, you can print them with stamp letters.
To do this, you first search out the letters for each word.
Then press her letter for letter into the stamp cushion and then onto the wood.

Tip: for children who are learning to write, this is a good exercise!
And an example of how you can arrange the crib figures.
For printing I have created a template for you. You can print it or write your own template and print it out.
Then you cut out the name tags.
Then stick the cut out name tags with a glue stick on the wood.
You can also enter and print the names in a labeling machine.
Then you just pull off the adhesive film and stick the names on.
Let the children write the names with felt pen on the woods!
Tip: Smaller children can also paint or stick a symbol on it.
Get a small cardboard box into which all wooden blocks fit in. Then you can still use it as a stable when putting up.
Maybe add a wooden star! Then the nativity scene is perfect!
Tip: Halve a wooden block for the Child Jesus.
