In autumn, coloured leaves are lying around everywhere. I'll show you a lantern that you can use as a table lamp or for the Martin parade.
We make them with packaging material and all you need is an empty tetrapack, butterbread paper and maple leaves that come from coloured advertising brochures!
Media Education for Kindergarten and Hort
Relief in everyday life, targeted promotion of individual children, independent learning and - without any pre-knowledge already usable by the youngest!
Cut off a Tetrapack so that it is 12cm long. Measured from the bottom, because we need this for the lantern.
Rectangles are now cut out of the side parts. Make sure that a 1cm wide edge stops. For this you use a cutter knife, but let it help you! The handling needs some practice.
Stamps different leaves in the most different autumn colours out of the advertising brochures.
Now glue the frame of the Tetrapack with the punched leaves.
You can glue the frame completely with leaves.
But you can only stick a part of the edge. Do as you like.
Then you paint the free spaces of the frame with finger colors or with a black felt pen.
Cut the butterbread paper into four pieces with the dimensions 11cm x 6cm. These cuts serve to close the frame, as a window of the lantern.
Attach the edges of the butterbread paper slices with glue and attach them to the inside of the frame.
Push her tight.
Now you can also stick some leaves on the window.
Finally, put a mini-light chain in the lantern and put it on your table.
If you use the lantern for a lantern move, hole two holes in the upper edge with the perforator on the opposite sides. Through the holes you push a wire that you twist at the ends. Then you can attach a lantern stick to it.
Have fun trying out.
