Lay fresh, elongated leaves in two different colors, in the same size and shape on a piece of kitchen crepe.
Then you put a second kitchen crepe over it and press the kitchen crepe on the leaves. So the kitchen crepe absorbs the remaining moisture of the leaves.
Then you put the leaves on the table. You need two leaves with different colors for a heart, which you now put exactly on each other.
Hold it firmly with one hand and then cut off the tips of the leaves first with the scissors.
Then you cut the sides straight on the left and right.
Then you cut the leaves twice from the lower edge.
Now put both leaves together in such a way that a heart is formed. The stems point upwards. Both leaves are cut so far that the cuts are longer than the leaves overlap.
Now you weave the heart together. For this you thread the leaf strips alternately over and among each other. Start with the inner strip.
Then you weave with the middle stripe.
And lastly, you weave with the outer stripes.
Gently rearrange all the strips.
The heart is ready.
Tip: If the heart is pressed in a book for two days, it remains stable and does not shrink when drying.
For this purpose you place the hearts of the leaves between the pages of a Book.
After the leaf hearts are dried, you pick up the material for the card.
First, you fold the card into a card once in the middle.
Then you put your hearts on the map as you like it. Then you cover the back with liquid glue and stick the leaves hearts on.
Now you can still label the card.
Enjoy leaf weaving, leaf pressing and crafting a card with leaf hearts.
