All you need for this are leaves, a small wooden stick and a piece of styrofoam. The ships are dedicated to experimenting and playing. For example, the children can find out how many figures fit on a ship before it sinks or how big the piece of styrofoam must be so that the ship swims. Look at yourself and let yourself be surprised how long children play with the leaves and what ideas they develop.
Media Education for Kindergarten and Hort

Relief in everyday life, targeted promotion of individual children, independent learning and - without any pre-knowledge already usable by the youngest!

Collects some leaves during an autumn walk and then searches the materials together.
Put your craft paper on the table.
Then cut off a little piece of styrofoam.
Then glue a leaf with hot glue to the piece Styrofoam.
Attention when dealing with the hot glue it should be an adult - risk of injury!
It is enough if you use a small piece of styrofoam. Stick it centrally under the leaf so that you can later also attach the sail in it.
For the sail you use an elongated leaf and a wooden stick. Put the wooden stick from the front to the back in the lower area through the leaf.
Then you put the wooden stick back into the leaf in the upper area. Push the leaf a bit apart. Then a sail is created.
Now you put the sail through the leaf into the piece Styrofoam.
The leaf ship is ready.
Builds several ships - long ships, large ships, ships with two sails, etc.
Find small figures, e.g. made of Lego or wood and let them ride with you.
You can let the ships swim in a bowl of water or in the bathtub.
Let the children experiment and have fun!
