These colorful pine cones are a nice Christmas decoration. Even small children have a lot of fun putting the colorful pompons on the pine cones. These can then be hung upside down as pendants to the Christmas tree or to a branch. Or you just put them on the window sill as small Christmas trees.
All you need for this are some pine cones, small colorful pompons and glue.

Get a pad and get the cones, the pompons and the glue ready.
Fill some wood glue in a small bowl. Then put some wood glue on the cones with a brush. Then put a pompon on it.
Tip: Wood glue is very suitable for crafting with natural materials. It adheres very well and becomes transparent as soon as it is dry.
Place an adhesive point with the hot glue gun on the cones and let the child put the pompon with the tweezers on it.
Caution: when handling the hot glue!
You can also use liquid glue. Depending on your age, the children can either set the adhesive point themselves or take it over.
When using a glue stick, if necessary, take a small spoon handle and put some glue on the cones.
Who wants to paint the cone beforehand with finger paint and a brush.
The white color looks good in contrast to the colorful pompons.
Once the paint is dried, put the pompons on it.
Alternatively, you can also put it on the damp paint, then stick it on.
With green color the cones look like a small Christmas tree.
Tip: Drying is faster, for example, on the heater.
Let the children thread pearls on a wire.
Then wrap the wire around the cones.
In addition, you can stick on or stick on a star and wrap some angel hair around the cone.
In the end, you decide whether you want to hang the cones or place them.
To hang up, cut off a piece of craft wire (about 20-25cm), wrap it around the cone and twist it up to a loop.
The cones look particularly beautiful on a fir branch.
But you can also decorate them on the table, put them on the window sill, in a set or decorate them to a Christmas vase.
They are also suitable for giftgiving.
Have fun!

Great offer!
We had no finger color at home and used alternative wall color! Was super easy also for toddlers! Also the idea with the tweezers is a super fine motor training????
Great idea! It was so easy. The little ones were thrilled and couldn't make enough cones. Thanks for this idea
