Painting stones does not only work with pens, nail polish is also a great way to paint the stones! Choose a motif and choose the matching nail polish. Use what you have at home!
Tip: Decent colours of nail polish look very noble! I show you two techniques for painting the stones (painting with strokes and pointillism).

Then you wash the stones and let them dry.
Now look for different nail polishes.
Choose a motive.
Paints, for example, a flower. Paints it first with a pencil. Follow the contours with a felt pen.
Select a nail polish and paint the flower carefully with the application brush of the nail polish.
Hold the application brush as you would hold a paint brush.
Then you paint the stalk and the leaves.
With green or darker nail polish you now paint the leaves.
The flower is ready.
Draw up a motif, e.g. a heart, with a pencil.
Then with the nail polish you begin to dab small dots on the prepainted lines.
Tip: For very small points you use a toothpick or a scraper.
Then you paint a line within the dots. Also here you can use a wooden stick.
Think about different patterns.
Draw a car with a pencil.
Drive around the contours with a felt pen.
Now you paint your motif with nail polish. Use the brush of your nail polish.
Always let the different colours dry for a short time.
That's not how the colors go into each other.
The nail polish must dry well!
