This simple search and memorization game is a treasure hunt. This game is always a joint game with adults and children. The mission is to search for treasures in the forest! It can be a memorization game if the treasure of the forest to be searched for is covered again and one goes on treasure hunt and thereby searches for what one could remember.
Depending on the age of the children, decide how many treasures you want to find. Each child gets a treasure deposit for this, e.g. a cloth cloth and a cloth bag.
Here the parts to be collected can be stored. It is also important that the children learn to appreciate nature, the careful handling of it and the renunciation of useless leave and destroy the habitat forest.
Give the children only treasures to look for:
- already lying on the ground
- anyone can find
- which are portable, and
- no living beings (animals)
Media Education for Kindergarten and Hort
Relief in everyday life, targeted promotion of individual children, independent learning and - without any pre-knowledge already usable by the youngest!
Together, the adults and the children go to the forest or a park.
Watch out for weather-adapted clothes, firm shoes and long trousers in this action, then you are well prepared for the trip into the forest.
Each treasure hunter gets a cloth bag and a cloth first. Then you can make your way into the forest. On the common path, each one searches for three different treasures (number can be arbitrary) in the forest and collects them in his pocket.
- already lying on the ground
- be portable and
- are not living beings (animals).
Then you will find a place in the forest, which serves as a starting point and common meeting place. Now the adult puts a cloth in the middle. On the cloth each child now places the three natural materials, which you have already found during the run into the forest. The treasures are sorted and discussed. Each child now places his cloth next to the common cloth on the ground. Then you can discuss depending on the age of the children what treasures everyone is looking for again. Then you can have them searched with his cloth bag. Then everyone can put their own finds on his cloth, next to the common cloth. Did you find everything?
To increase the difficulty, you can show the natural materials to be searched for and then cover them with a cloth. Everyone is looking for what they could remember. If everyone is looking for what they could remember, they are controlled and compared.
Colorful leaves, especially in autumn are very good to remember!
Different forms of leaves
Distinguishing leaf edges make it easier to distinguish!
Different colors of the leaves.
Fruits of trees are good to find:
- Chestnuts
- Taps
- Buckbacks
- Acorns...
Different cones.
Miscellaneous fruit
Small branches and bark pieces as well as stones are also good to find!
