Why not even fish empty snail houses out of the water...? Children have fun playing with water... try it out!
Media Education for Kindergarten and Hort
Relief in everyday life, targeted promotion of individual children, independent learning and - without any pre-knowledge already usable by the youngest!
Collect or buy empty snail houses, cook them so they don't start to stink.
Fill a bowl half with water. Place a sponge cloth next to the bowl as a storage for the aid for "fishing out".
A small bowl for the fished snail houses.
There are several ways to fish out the snail houses: e.g. with a small ladle
or with a noodle tong or a pastry tong
or with a small kitchen screen.
Often the children just take their hands to get the snail houses out of the water. They empty them out, because in their "courses" the water stops. In longer games the snail houses also go down, because no air remains in the inside of the snail houses. This game definitely does not get boring and the children practice in fine motor skills and learn to experiment and discover their living world.
Try it out... it's worth it!

A great occupation. Our little one was concentrated for a long time. We bought snails, which then ate and then boiled the snail houses. These snail houses are larger and more robust than those in nature.
