Make your own skate. This is easy with this template. For older children or experienced hobbyists, this crafting is very easy to do on your own with step by step instructions.
First you fold the skate and cut it out twice. This gives the paper skate its stability.
The eyelets for the laces are created by a punched pliers. You thread the wool thread that serves as a shoelace with a thick pot needle. Alternatively, you simply paint the laces. Then embellish your skate by painting it and glue it with glitter, spreader decoration or paliettes.
Be creative and design your skate if you like it. Have fun!

Afterwards, the craft pad and the materials will be provided for you.
Then you fold the skate along the indicated line between the skids. The skate is now in front of you.
Then you cut out the folded skate. The paper is double. Tip: Glue both papers together, so they do not slip when cutting out.
Cuts along the outer lines first.
Then you put the skate on a craft pad or a cutting board. Now you fold the scissors apart and scratch the paper between the skids and the shoe.
Through this Ritz you thread the scissors. Now you can cut out the center piece easily.
Cuts into every corner from the middle.
Then you cut out the straight sides of the inner part all around.
Then you punch the eyelets for the shoelaces with the punched pliers in the skate.
Now you thread a approximately 50 cm long wool thread into a large blunt stuffing needle.
Start then at the upper end of the skate with the first hole. Thread through the wool thread and let about 10cm thread hang at the end. Stitch then with the needle always from back to front through the eyelets of the skate.
Once you have arrived below, you will stitch up from the bottom. Gently tighten the thread after each stitch, so that it is right on the shoe.
If both threads look out of the top hole, you tie them together. You can also tie a loop.
Then you embellish your skate by painting it or sticking it on.
If you haven't glued your papers together yet, you'll stick them together with a glue stick.
For example, the small skate is suitable as a gift pendant.
But you can also design a picture or a map.
Also as a mobile for a window, the skate is a nice decoration idea in the winter months.
Print a template first.
You can choose between two options: a skate without eyelets or a skate with prepainted eyelets.
For a pair of skates, you print the template twice.
Stay creative and design your own individual skate!
