A mini sandbox for the terrace, balcony or garage. Fill sand in an old tin tub, wash basin or in a large bowl, look for smooth stones, shells, twigs, cones, feathers, corks, etc. Take what you find and discover and create your own little game world. Also small characters from e.g. Lego, Playmobil or Schleichtiere are wonderful.
This incentive is enough to keep the children busy for a long time and to watch them become true inventors. While playing in the sand, we also promote tactile perception.
Get curious and watch what your children discover.

First fills a tin tub with sand. Don't fill the tub to the edge, otherwise the sand will fall out easily while playing.
Build your own playing landscape with big stones, shells.
Use game characters and then the game can start.
Maybe you're playing on site, or you're playing knights, or you're playing farm.
Redesigns the game landscape over and over and expands it with new materials.
How about a treasure hunt? Hides a certain number of marbles or glass nuggets. Bury them and then find them with your hands or a small toy excavator.
Attention: little children could want to take marbles in their mouths. Here you should stay!
"Sandmaler" wanted! Who guesses the sand image of the other? But the sand should be a little damp.
Stamping games with corks. In wet sand you can make good prints. Try it out!
Stay creative and have fun!
