Fragrant rose petals can be used in many ways. On the one hand for a fragrant rose water or for a magical rose bath salt. But also in the kitchen rose petals can be used as Rose salt In addition to harvesting, it is often necessary for the petals to be dried. I would like to show this in this offer.
Media Education for Kindergarten and Hort
Relief in everyday life, targeted promotion of individual children, independent learning and - without any pre-knowledge already usable by the youngest!
Choosing fragrant roses that are untreated and preferably in organic quality. The roses should not grow right next to a busy road!
Pick rose petals that have blossomed and have no lice or other pests. Harvest the rose petals as much as possible in the morning, the aroma is the most intense. The roses should be dry at harvest.
Chop the leaves of the rose petals apart and free them from crawling animals and dirt.
Leave a few hours for the first "drying" petals.
Place rose petals on the grill of a baking sheet and dry for two hours at 50 degrees in the oven.
The dried petals fall almost all through the grid of the rust and then lie on the baking sheet. Tests whether the leaves are dry and decides whether an extension of the drying is necessary!
(Residual moisture can lead to mold formation!)
Uses the rose petals for fragrance bags or as potpourri
See further offers for further processing with rose petals. Like rose buns or rose salt.
