This folded paper flyer is not so easy for untrained hobbyists. But, with this easy-to-understand step-by-step instruction, this paper flyer certainly succeeds in making it itself. The ready-made paper flyer can still be designed individually after folding. You can also find a painting guide for a "firefly" here.
After this craft success, you are sure to get involved in further "flyer adventures". Have fun doing crafts and always "good flight!"

Use a Din A4 sheet, it can be a white copy paper or a colored paper. Now you put the sheet in front of you on the table so that the long side of the sheet lies down - right in front of your belly.
Just make sure it's a thin paper, because it's easier to fold.
Then take the two lower corners in your hand and fold the leaf upwards to the other two corners.
Hold the folded leaf well in the middle with one hand.
Then move down with the other hand in the middle of the leaf so that a kink is formed. Now, from the middle, smoothly brush the fold line outwards.
First strokes from the middle in one direction and then into the other. This creates a straight break. (This is called the striped fold)
? "folding a fracture", that's what is called the striped fold.
? Make sure the corners are always on top of each other.
Now you're gonna go back down the half that went up.
Here you see the "Bruch", the folding line.
Then take the lower right corner in your hand.
Fold the corner upwards until the outer edge of the leaf is on the middle line. A small triangle is created.
Hold the paper at the top and strip it with the other hand down to the right. Then you strip the fold smoothly.
Now take the top corner and fold it to the center line as well.
Both tips of paper now touch each other.
Hold the top tip of paper well and strip the edge with the other hand.
This is what the resulting lace looks like now.
Now you've folded a roof.
Now take the lower corner again and fold it again to the center line upwards.
Make sure that the paper is located exactly on the middle line, because a tip is to be created. Stripes the fold smoothly.
Now you take the corner lying on the top and fold it to the centre line. Both edges are now right next to each other on the centre line. Hold the tips with one hand and brush the "Bruch" with the other hand smoothly.
? If you don't succeed the first time, open your fold and try it again. The more you practice, the easier it will be for you.
?With wrinkles well striped edges are especially important!
Follow the folding lines again.
Now take the lower side in your hand and fold the complete paper half upwards.
Both paper halves now lie exactly on each other. Strip the fold with the flat hand smooth.
Now you fold the wings. For this you lay a hand flat on the lower half of the plane. It serves as a measure of the fracture.
Then with the other hand you fold the above leaf downwards. This creates a wing for the pilot. Attention: The wing can also protrude beyond the lower edge of the plane.
Then you strip the resulting fracture smoothly. A wing is already finished.
Now you take the plane in your hand.
Then you turn the plane around once, so that the tip points in the other direction.
Put the plane back on the table. The lower wing sharpens out.
? Always fold on the table. Because this way you can fold exactly and also strip the fractures vigorously smooth!
Then take the upper edge of the plane and fold it down as well. Make sure that the two wings lie exactly on each other. Otherwise, the plane doesn't fly so well afterwards!
Finally, with your flat hand, you will once again roam over the whole plane. The plane is ready.
Take the plane now under the wings and squeeze the lower sides a little. Ready for the test flight? You can still beautify your plane. Paint it on for it. Here is an idea how you can design a fire plane.
To make a firefly, put the plane back on the table. Fold the wings apart and paint the same pattern on both wings. For example, flames. Paint them with a pencil.
Then you paint them with markers or crayons.
Then you turn the crafted plane to the other side. Press the middle part flatly on the table to paint the tip.
Now paint again fiery flames.
? Think about what you like to paint. Maybe you have another idea or may have the flames differently. Paint the plane as you like it. It's your fire-flyer.
Also windows must not be missing - for the pilot and the passengers.
Then you fold the plane again. Now continue painting it and complete your work of art. Your work of art is finished.
Keep the aircraft slightly upwards to take off with the tip. From this position, it glides through the air longer while flying.
Looking for an elevation from which you can take off the plane. In the stairwell or from the slide house, the plane has another way to fly. The crafting of a paper flyer and the design is also a nice action for a children's birthday party.
Have fun crafting the paper flyer and flying!
