This material includes a process that the children always encounter in everyday life. Start eating children at the table inevitably comes up with the desire of "doing it yourself". Get it ready.

You can already prepare everything on a tray, or you let the children help. Both are possible and "help" is always fun for children.
Even small children are enthusiastic about this if they are allowed to help with the preparation.

Let your children try out. The rice is spooned from one bowl to the other.
Ideal material when children start eating at the table and want to eat themselves.

You can also offer various other materials that are prepared on the spoon, e.g. with thick beans, then with dried chickpeas, then peas, lentils and then rice or gries to your children.

Every grain that falls next to it is spooned back into the bowl, or brought back with your hand.

If children prefer to pour the whole bowl over at once instead of spooning, then offer them a large rice bowl, in which bulk exercises can be made.
