You can make this autumn mobile very easy after an autumn walk. In addition to natural material you only need a wool. For all children who like to collect everything on the go and bring it home, this idea is ideal. By the way, the children can learn to name the natural materials and by connecting them they not only train their fine motor skills, but also learn to tie knots. Try it out and let yourself be inspired! Have fun!

Relief in everyday life, targeted promotion of individual children, independent learning and - without any pre-knowledge already usable by the youngest!
First collect natural material, such as branches, grasses, leaves, acorns, nuts, cones, etc. If you want to take a walk, take a garden scissors with you.
At home, you prepare the materials. Leave them on the table for a short time, so that small beetles can crawl away and slightly moist materials can become dry if necessary.
Choose a branch where you may attach your material, and then put a pair of scissors and wool.
Cut off a piece of wool thread (approx. 30-40 cm). Then select the first plant and tie it to the thread.
Knots the objects, like here for example the hazelnuts.
Leaves can be attached individually with the thread. Attention, for this the leaves must be fresh. Dried leaves crumble together.
When attaching the cones, first put the wool around the cones and tie a knot.
Then tie both ends together again at the upper side. So the cones hang down later straight.
Attention when using rose hips. These have large thorns on the branches. Therefore, only the fruit is used.
In addition to small fruits and individual leaves, it also uses larger branches and plants.
If you have all natural materials attached to a wool thread, you will need two chairs to hang the branch.
Put the chairs apart so that you can attach the objects to the branch. Make sure that the branch lies well on the sides.
Now you tie the materials to the branch.
Change the length of the objects so that different lengths are created. As a result, the wool threads and objects do not tangle and all materials are visible.
Now cut off the overhanging pieces of thread at the branch (up to 1cm).
Then cut off the overhanging pieces of thread on the materials (up to 1 cm).
Then tie a wool thread to the right and left to hang the autumn mobile.
Find yourself a nice place, like in a skylight.
If the autumn mobile hangs freely, then the objects move with an air draught. This looks particularly beautiful.
Have fun!
