This carnival costume is a fun disguise for children of crib age. At this age children like to dress up and they like to slip into other roles. Since many children don't like make-up on their faces and also like to move, this disguise is ideal from a T-shirt. How quickly you can make your children happy, you see here. Let them watch how their costume is created and let you help with the individual work steps of them. Have fun sewing and carnival celebrations!

Relief in everyday life, targeted promotion of individual children, independent learning and - without any pre-knowledge already usable by the youngest!
Uses a pink T-shirt without print.
Tip: If your T-shirt has a print, turn it to the left side and cut off the labels.
Cut out a large round circle from another piece of fabric. This becomes the pig's trunk. As a template you use a large bowl or plate that you border and then cut out.
Then put the circle on the t-shirt.
Then you bend the edge of the circle one centimetre and fix it with glue. To do so, stroke the edge with glue.
Now you cut out two small circles from a slightly lighter fabric. Use for this as a template e.g. a glass or a cup, which you border with a pen and then cut out. Then you attach the circles with pins to the large circle.
Now you sew the small circles with a zigzag stick on the large circle.
The pig's trunk is ready. Put it up high on the T-shirt and fold the bottom edge a bit inwards.
After that, you attach the trunk with pins to the front of the T-shirt and then sew it with a straight stitch.
The trunk is ready.
Now you sew the ringed tail. For this you cut out two equally large arches of pink fabric. Then sew together the two arches of the length. The wide upper end of the ringed tail remains open, because by this you now apply the fabric.
Uses a pen or spoon to use to express the seams.
Then fill the ringed tail with fill floss or fabric residue. Then slip the fabric edge to the inside of the opening and sew the opening.
Now sew the wrestling tail to the back of the t-shirt.
For this you put a thin fold and put the tail there. Then you sew this on the T-shirt.
Now you cut out two round circles of white fabric remnants and paint the pupils with a black felt pen. Afterwards you stick your eyes on the T-shirt and sew them additionally with a zigzag stick.
Finished is a charming pig t-shirt.
Combines this pig costume with a pink pantyhose or pants and the next carnival party can come.
Stay creative and enjoy the carnival party!
