First put a slice of toast bread on a cutting board.
Then you cut the toast bread with a knife into 4 equal parts. First cut the bread in half and then halve each half to a quarter.
Every quarter you now cut into the shape of a honeycomb. A honeycomb is a form that has six equally long sides - also called hexagon.
For this you cut off a tip on each small square to the left and right.
Repeats the process on all squares.
Then you put the toast-bread combs on a plate.
Tip: Arrange them to a honeycomb pattern.
Now you will brush each individual honeycomb with cream cheese, spreadable butter or Greek yoghurt.
Now you've almost made it.
On each honeycomb you now give half a teaspoon of honey.
Just put a piece of honey in the middle of your honeycomb, or the honey will flow from the toast.
As a decoration and highlight you put a small banana bee on it. You can see how it is made in the following steps.
To do this, cut off 4 slices from a banana with a bowl. Then cut a small cut into the bowl and release it from the four slices.
So you can pick up the rest of the banana even longer.
Every single banana slice becomes a small bee.
For this, you only show up the tip of the knife in the chocolate glaze and paint the stripes, like with a brush.
The eyes are made of chocolate droplets. Place two small dots in front of the stripes.
Repeats the process on all four banana slices.
The wings consist of two almond plates each. Gently press these on the small bees' bodies.
Either you just put these on the banana disc - the almond leaves hold through the moisture. Alternatively, you put the almond leaves on the side of the banana disc.
Both variants are possible and look pretty.
Now you put the bees on the loaves.
Every honeycomb bread gets a small bee.
Have fun snacking!
Always make sure that no real bees sit on your honeybread while snacking outdoors!
