This beautiful little apple lantern is suitable for lantern moving as well as for decoration for the window. The edge of the apple is the edge of a small cardboard plate. The transparent paper creates a luminous center. The handle is made of brown temple beads. As you can make this small handy lantern in no time, you can see this in the next step by step instruction. Have fun!

Relief in everyday life, targeted promotion of individual children, independent learning and - without any pre-knowledge already usable by the youngest!

You need two small cardboard plates first.
With the scissors or a cutter knife a piece about 3cm long is inserted. Let the incision be made by an adult! Risk of injury!
Then through the slit you thread the scissors.
Now cut out the inner circle of the cardboard plate. This creates a cardboard ring.
Now paint the rings with water colours. For this, lay down a colouring sheet, e.g. a kitchen crepe or an old newspaper.
Then let the paint dry.
Cut two circles out of transparent paper. This should be slightly larger than the cut-outs of your cardboard plates. For example, use a larger bowl or a plate as a template.
Then glue the circles of transparent paper onto the unpainted inside of the cardboard rings.
To do this, apply glue to the inner edge of the cardboard plate. Afterwards, press the transparent paper firmly.
Both cardboard rings look like this now!
Now you draw an apple shape on the inside and cut out a recess from the plate at the top and bottom.
That's how you get an apple shape.
At the upper depression you hole a hole for the stem of the apple with the punched tong.
Use a thick craft wire, on which you first thread only brown temple beads.
Uses e.g. iron beads with different brown tones.
As soon as the bead row is about 6-8 cm long, bend the top end of the wire down. So you get a small loop.
Then you bend up the lower end of the row of beads. So the beads are fixed and can no longer be moved.
Then season the wire to about 3cm length.
The handle of the apple is ready.
Now cut out a leaf of green clay paper.
Then cut the leaf from the bottom to the middle.
Now thread the handle of temple beads into the incision of the leaf.
Now put the paper on top of each other and glue the paper together.
Tip: With a clothes clip, the end of the leaf can be pressed together until the glue is dried.
Now you chop the stalk into the hole of the apple lantern.
Thread a thread into the upper loop in the wire and you can also attach the apple lantern to the window or to a door.
Enjoy your crafting!
