So the small round Americans arise. Leave enough distance between the individual Americans as they open when baking.
Then fill some water in the measuring cup and moisten a knife.
Now use the knife to smooth the surface of the Americans.
Then push the sheet metal into the preheated oven at 160 degrees of hot air for 10 - 15 minutes. As soon as the Americans get slightly brown, these are ready.
Gently turn it around after baking with a knife and let it cool.
In the meantime, you stir the icing. For this, you put some powdered sugar and lemon juice in a bowl and stir them together. A creamy mass is created.
Fill the sugar sprinkles in small bowls or in lids of masonry jars. This makes it easier for children to remove and dose when decorating.
Then apply a knife or brush to the straight side of the Americans.
Tip: Take the Americans in one hand and apply the other hand to the icing.
Then you decorate the pastry as you like it.
Enjoy!
