You can watch ants everywhere. The tiny animals are fascinating. How about replaying the behavior of these strong animals? The small animals are incredibly strong. They transport a lot, which is much heavier than they themselves. They run in a row in so-called ant streets and build ant heaps that are very different. Make ants and motivate the children to watch the small creatures. Have fun doing crafts and playing!
Media Education for Kindergarten and Hort
Relief in everyday life, targeted promotion of individual children, independent learning and - without any pre-knowledge already usable by the youngest!
Separates a row of three from an empty egg box. Uses scissors.
Cuts the middle tips to the height of the outer edge. So the egg box is straight. The recesses now point downwards.
Round off with the scissors overstanding edges.
Now you stash three holes into the two long sides. Use the thick needle for this. Attention: Injury risk! Let this possibly help by an adult.
Then you stab two more holes at one end, the head.
Cut now the pipe cleaners. For this you halve each pipe cleaner. In total you need three half pipe cleaners in brown or black for the legs. In addition you need a pipe cleaner in the length of approx.10-12cm for the probes.
Now thread the pipe cleaners from left to right or vice versa through the holes on the longitudinal sides. Means the pipe cleaner, so that both legs are the same length.
Repeats the process with the other holes.
At the end you thread the pipe cleaners for the probes. Thread them from the outside to the inside and then through the adjacent hole from the inside to the outside. Then you mediate the probes so that they are the same length.
This is how the ant looks from below. Bends the individual legs slightly.
The feelers also bend her arch-shaped.
Place two wobble eyes below the probe with one adhesive point. Or paint two eyes with a felt pen.
The ant is ready.
If you make several ants, you can use them to lay an ant road and play.
Enjoy discovering, watching and playing!
