There are so many sticks and branches with us, and on every occasion the children drag them back home again. Today we use a branch to make a flag out of it. Quite simply from an old shirt. <\/h2>\n

Textile coloured pencils<\/span>If you don't have one, just take markers.<\/span><\/div>\n

You're looking for the material and every child is looking for a branch. <\/p>\n

The children cut or rip a piece of their shirt. As big as they want for their flag.
\nThe children learn how to cut fabric and how to tear it. <\/p>\n

The children then paint and design their flag.
\nIf you use felt pens, then the color is not weatherproof. Your flag should then be protected from the rain, otherwise the colors run. Textile color keeps great. <\/p>\n

Then tie the pieces of fabric to the flag.<\/p>\n

The flags are ready. On the balcony or in the garden they look pretty and they animate the children to play.
\nOf course, the wind strength can also be observed well. The children can try out wind-protected and windy places for setting up the flags.
