Pig disguise (animal mask)
A cute little pig or the three little piglets? This disguise consists of a pig's trunk, pig's ears and a ringed tail. Combine these accessories with pink clothes (hose, sweater), then you have a costume in no time, by making children feel comfortable. Because often children like to wear their own clothes rather than a real costume. See for themselves how easy the crafting of these small details can be.
Cup game (lucky beakers)
With this simple cup game fun is guaranteed and the children also get in motion properly. Therefore, the game is ideal also on rainy days or if you want to install some movement in between. In addition, it is a quick made little gift. All you need for this is a plastic cup, clay paper and a table tennis ball.
We made these cups for New Year's Eve and decorated them as a lucky cup.
Wait-time bars
For small children, time is not yet a term they can start with. "How long does it take until & #8230;?" or "When does it finally come & #8230;?" or "How often do I have to sleep until & #8230;?" How often do we parents hear these questions?
To illustrate the time of waiting for the children, I made this waiting-time bar.
It is used in a variety of ways. For example, when waiting for a upcoming football game, the start of the holiday, the tingling anticipation of the birthday, when waiting for a celebration, such as the lantern festival, Easter or Christmas.
I only made this bar with 24 days to use it for the Advent season. Moreover, hardly a child can cover the period until the day of joy months before. Therefore, long 24 days for us. But you can also make a bar with 31 days! This is especially ideal if the birthday of the child is one day after the 24th day of the month!
Advent calendar bar
An enchanting idea that inspires children interested in craftsmanship. Dealing with saws, drilling machines and Schmirgelpapier becomes an exciting experience and ultimately creativity in the design is still needed.
Other variants of a waiting bar for children I'll show you here (e.g. to be able to place the time until the birthday, at a football game or at a lantern party).
Children often cannot estimate times yet and often feel waiting times unbearably long. These waiting bars make the waiting times more vivid for the children – because every day the event comes a little closer.

From empty tin cans you quickly conjure up this sweet mouse family with the support of the children.
When cutting the tail, the use of scissors is intensively practiced. Let the children help. They are happy and exercise their fine motor skills and you have support. Have fun!

Balancing on pool noodles
Pool noodles give children joy not only in the water, but also to balance over it. This is fun and promotes balance, coordination and stimulates movement.
Windspiel with paper rings
We make a windgame/window picture/mobile with a round cardboard frame.
You need a round frame e.g. from a cheese box, a chip can or similar. From paper rings are made, which are then fitted into the frame. Afterwards the whole is covered with transparent paper. This creates a sensational effect, especially in sunlight.
