Flower Haarcrosis for Solstice (Litha)

On June 21st it is the solstice (Litha). The solstice is a celtic annual celebration, where the light is celebrated. On June 21st it is the longest day of the year. Thus, after Litha the days become a few minutes shorter every day, the nights longer and the sun slowly loses strength. It is tradition to make a headdress on this day and to dance the fire. In Sweden people celebrate midsummer and the Christians celebrate Johanni. Have a nice summer and have fun with the flower haarkarz tinkering!
