Fest: Fasching

Giant confetti from lids (upcycle)

Confetti is simply part of the carnival! Make large confetti out of no longer needed or already collected screw glass lids. Also, the lids of tin cans (only when a can opener is used to round off the edges!) are wonderfully suitable to glue them and hang them on a cord.
A room decoration, in which the smallest ones can already co-build. The sticking on of the colorful snippets playfully promotes the fine motor skills and the concept of sustainability in the use of materials, which are actually to be thrown away, is already conveyed to the smallest ones.
See for yourself how easy sustainable crafting is!

Fasching jelly (upcycles)

This colourful "fasching jelly" is a colorful craft action made of sustainable materials. Uses wool remnants and an empty cardboard roll. Colorful painted this jellyfish looks even more colorful. Children who already master the handling of the scissors can diligently cut threads. For this also a ruler can be helpful for measuring the length. However, the lengths can also vary here.
A strip of double-sided adhesive tape is attached to the inside of the cardboard roll. On this the children can glue the wool threads. Length and distance of the threads play no role for the result.
At the end an adult threads a thread with a needle through the top of the cardboard roll and knots it. The jellyfish can be hung on it. In the air the wool threads move and a nice decoration is ready.
Look at the instructions and try it out yourself. Have fun!

Snake garland (6 templates for garlands) (Navi)

These snakes garlands are a great occupation for children. When painting, they can be creative in color or design their own patterns in the Blanco template. Colorfully painted, you first cut the snake as a circle before cutting it spirally along the line. That's not difficult, provided you cut on the line.
As a room decoration you attach a thread in the middle of the snake or you put it as a table decoration like an air snake on the table. The perfect carnival decoration!
Tip: If you paint the snakes in green tones, then they fit for a jungle party or a children's birthday party as well. Stay creative!
Have fun trying it out!
