In order to benefit as many parents as possible from the adventures, we use your texts and uploaded photos for posts and advertising in social media (Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, XING and LinkedIn) as well as for our other offers (e.g. apps). The data you upload remains with us as long as you do not delete the adventures.
Newsletter (bottle mail), lists and electronic notifications
We only send newsletters (bottle mail), e-mails (e-bottle) and other electronic notifications (hereinafter „ newsletters) with the consent of the recipients or a legal permission. If the content of the newsletter is specifically described within the scope of a registration, it is decisive for the consent of the users. Furthermore, our newsletters contain information about our services and us.
In principle, it is sufficient to subscribe to our newsletters if you provide your e-mail address. However, we may ask you to provide a name, for personal use in the newsletter, or other information, if this is necessary for the purposes of the newsletter.
For the newsletter administration as well as the organization of lists we use the plugin "The Newsletter Plugin" and the service provider for sending e-mail sentinblue (de.sendinblue.com) with headquarters in Germany.
Double opt-in procedure: In principle, registration for our newsletter takes place in a so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that you will receive an e-mail after registration, in which you will be asked to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that no one can register with external e-mail addresses. The registrations for the newsletter are logged in in order to be able to prove the registration process in accordance with the legal requirements. This includes the storage of the registration and confirmation time as well as an anonymized IP address. The changes are also logged.
Deletion and restriction of processing: We may store the e-mail addresses that have been e-mailed for up to three years on the basis of our legitimate interests before we delete them in order to demonstrate a previously given consent. The processing of this data is limited to the purpose of a possible defence against claims. An individual request for deletion is possible at any time, provided that the former existence of consent is confirmed at the same time. In the case of obligations for the permanent observance of contradictions, we reserve the right to store the e-mail address solely for this purpose in a blocking list (so-called „Blocklist“).
The registration process is recorded on the basis of our legitimate interests for the purposes of proving its proper course of action. Insofar as we commission a service provider to send e-mails (currently sentinblue), this is done on the basis of our legitimate interests in an efficient and secure shipping system.
Notes on legal bases: The newsletter is sent on the basis of the consent of the recipients or, if consent is not required, on the basis of our legitimate interests in direct marketing, if and to the extent permitted by law, e.g. in the case of existing customer advertising. If we commission a service provider to send e-mails (currently sentinblue), this is done on the basis of our legitimate interests. The registration process is recorded on the basis of our legitimate interests in order to prove that it was carried out in accordance with the law.
Contents: We send irregularly an e-mail with the latest adventures as well as e-mails with further up-to-date information and offers.
Analysis and measurement of success: The newsletters contain a so-called „web-beacon", i.e., a pixel-sized file, which is accessed from our server when the newsletter is opened, or, if we use a shipping service provider (currently sentinblue), from its server. In the context of this retrieval, technical information, such as information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address (which is then stored anonymously) and the time of the retrieval, are collected.
This information is used for the technical improvement of our newsletter on the basis of the technical data or of the target groups and their reading behaviour on the basis of their retrieval locations (which can be determined with the help of the IP address) or the access times. This analysis also includes the determination whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked. This information can be assigned to the individual newsletter recipients for technical reasons. However, it is neither our aim nor, if used, the dispatch service provider (currently sentinblue) to observe individual users. The evaluations serve us rather to recognize the reading habits of our users and to adapt our contents to them or to send different contents according to the interests of our users.
The evaluation of the newsletter and the measurement of success take place, subject to the express consent of the users, on the basis of our legitimate interests for the purposes of the use of a user-friendly and secure newsletter system (currently sentinblue), which serves both our business interests and the expectations of the users.
A separate revocation of the success measurement is unfortunately not possible, in this case the entire newsletter subscription must be cancelled, or must be contradicted.
- Data types processed: Inventory data (e.g. names), contact data (e.g. e-mail), meta/communication data (e.g. device information, anonymised IP addresses), usage data (e.g. visited websites, interest in content, access times).
- Persons concerned: Communication partner.
- Purposes of processing: Improve our website and direct marketing (e.g. by e-mail).
- Legal basis: Consent (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR), legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f. GDPR).
- Opt-out: You can cancel the receipt of our newsletter at any time, i.e. revoke your consent, or object to further receipt. You can either find a link to cancel the newsletter at the end of each newsletter or else use one of the above mentioned contact options, preferably e-mail.

Enquiry by e-mail, telephone or fax

We do not pass this data on without your consent. The processing of this data is based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). The data transmitted by you to us via contact requests remains with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage ceases to apply. Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular statutory retention periods - remain unaffected.
