To make kings from cinnamon sticks is a fragrance experience. The little kings get a crown of felt / felt washcloths. Paints the face directly on the cinnamon stick or makes a small face as described here.
Decorated in a picture frame, you can also use the fragrant kings as a gift.
Have fun trying out.

Cuts off a strip about 3cm wide from the dishcloth / felt.
From this strip the crowns are made.
The cinnamon rod is used for measuring. Put the rod on the felt strip and wrap it around it. Leave about 0.5 cm more length, you need to stick to it. Cut off the felt strip. This is for a crown.
Repeat with every cinnamon stick.
Paint a face in the thickness of the cinnamon stick, take the cinnamon stick as a measure. Paint a face longer than you want it to have, because it is glued over a piece with the crown. Fold the paper three times in the width of the painted face, then you can cut the face several times.
Stick the face to the top of the cinnamon stick.
Cuts the felt strip on one side jagged. Each cut goes from the outside to the inside.
That's how the crowns come into being.
Put glue on the lower (straight) edge of the crown, place the crown centrally on the crown strip and slowly roll it around the cinnamon rod. On the end piece that overlaps, some glue may have to be added and pressed.
At the overlapping point it may be that the points of the crown are not identical, these points are recut with scissors.
Repeat the process with all three cinnamon sticks. So you get three cinnamon sticks kings.
Stick the three kings in an empty picture frame.
Each king can still get a "belt". Cuts off a very narrow strip of the dishcloth / felt.
The thin "filtration cord" is tied with a knot around the cinnamon rod.
Seasons the small belt with scissors to the desired length.
Ties the belts at different heights to the cinnamon sticks kings.
Removes the "disc" of the frame. Places a leaf in the frame. A colored e.g. yellow leaf is inserted as a landscape at the bottom.
Cuts the yellow leaf wavy. Makes two layers with two different waveforms.
So the landscape looks spatial. You can highlight the paper edge with a felt pen a bit in color. Paint the paper edge with the felt pen.
You can cut a star and many small snippets from the felt residue/ fabric residue and stick them on the frame as a starry sky.
Finally, stick the kings to the frame. Perhaps with the hot glue gun. Be careful with the hot glue gun burn risk - this should be done by an adult.
Your frame with the three kings is ready.
Have fun making.
