The magic apple is a great way to divide an apple into two equally large pieces.
The apple is cut all around in the zigzag, and divided by slight contrasting to and fro turning both halves.
From my childhood days I know the magic apple in connection with the saying: "Zick and zack and back and forth, I conjure two halves - please very much!" So our grandmother handed us the "magic apple"!
As children we waited longingly for the apple cut to be finished and it was always a surprise effect! If you try it yourself, it is not as complicated as it seems at first glance.
Cut in the zigzag around the middle of the apple with a sharp knife.
The cut must reach to the middle.
The apple cut is finished and now comes the "magic".
With the saying:
"Zick and zack and back and forth,
I'll conjure two halves -
Here you go!"
If the upper and lower part of the apple are slightly turned opposite, the last piece of apple dissolves in the middle, which was not completely cut.
Both apple parts are now taken apart and given to the child. When sharing two children, each child gets one half!
Now the magic apple can be eaten. The core house can either be left or you can just eat it with.
