Gives magic tealights to special people or makes a great wax experiment. Many children find it fascinating when the wax becomes transparent when liquefied. If a motif appears underneath it, children's eyes shine.
Make several magic tealights and watch together which magic picture comes to light. You can also paint the pictures before and thus give them an individual touch. Have fun!
Print this template first. Alternatively, paint your own templates. The size of your template indicates the size of your tealight.
For each tea light you choose a motive now.
Tip: Paint the motifs colorfully or design your own beautiful motifs.
To check, take the tea light out of the aluminum shell and check if it is the size of the template.
Now cut out the motif with the scissors.
Then you get the wax part out of the aluminum shell and pull the wick out of the wax.
Now pierce the image in the middle with a needle. The hole must be so large that the wick fits through.
Then you put the wick from behind through the motif image.
The motif is now flat on the aluminium plate.
Moves the motif picture all the way down.
Then you put the motif with the wick back into the aluminium bowl and slip the wax over the wick again.
The tealight looks unchanged.
Only when the tealight burns and the wax liquefies, the magic image comes to light.
The magic tealight is a nice gift idea.
The wax melts and your motive comes to light.
If you blow out the candle, you can observe how the motif disappears very slowly - and the wax gets firm again.
Have fun trying out, experimenting and giving away!
