Make a rose durable by dipping it into wax. We tried it and were amazed how easy it is. Look at the instructions and try it out ourselves.
When diving into hot wax, the rose loses a bit of its bright color. However, if you use a dark red rose and the same color wax, the color will remain. Let an adult help you handle hot wax to avoid burns. Have fun!

First melt the wax in a pot.
Removes dirt parts from the wax with a wooden stick, such as wick bars or soot.
Then you need a not completely closed rose. However, it should not have fully blossomed.
As soon as the wax is melted, it should cool down briefly. Important: The pot does not have to contain so much wax that the rose can be completely dipped. You can also immerse the rose side by side.
Immerse the rose in the wax for a short time. Take it out again and turn it something. Then you immerse it in piece by piece. As you can see in the picture, the rose loses some of its color due to the high temperature. To get the color, you use colored wax (e.g. red candle remnants).
Then you don't keep the rose dripping off any more wax.
If the rose is immersed in wax all around, you can model it with a wooden stick.
Press the delicate petals slightly outwards with the wooden stick. These glue a little through the hot wax.
It is often enough to work on the tip of the flowers, which means that no complete petals need to be bent.
That's how the flower could look. The wax is still a little soft, so you should put the rose in a vase until it is hardened.
This rose will last for a very long time now. A great idea to preserve the beauty of the roses. Also as a gift the wax rose is well suited!
