This funny little bird is made of a mini yoghurt cup. Through the standing feathers it seems cheeky. You can put it on a branch or embellish a gift with it.
You can see how to do this in step by step guidance.
Put your craft pad on the table. First you need an empty small, as monochrome as possible yoghurt cup. In addition, you need colorful wool, feathers, two wobble eyes and a triangular paper snippet as beak.
With a needle and a lighter (or better a burning candle) you can make two holes in the small edge of the cup, through which the legs are threaded afterwards.
An adult should help you with this: make the needle "hot" with the flame and punch a hole through the plastic. This melts. Repeat the process several times until the hole is large enough.
Now you need ruler and wool. Cut off two wool threads with a length of 10 cm.
Makes on one side a knot with a distance of 2cm to the end of the thread.
These are the two legs of the bird.
Thread a prepared wool thread onto the needle and pull the thread through the hole in the cup.
If the thread knots on the cup, the first leg holds.
Do it on both legs.
Cut out two triangles with 2cm x 2cm. These are the feet of the bird.
Now you stick the triangles to the ends of the thread.
Now cut out another triangle. Place the yoghurt cup on your craft pad so that the two legs look forward.
Stick the beak triangle on the front of the cup.
Afterwards, the wobble eyes stick to the round bottom of the cup.
Now a small feather can be glued behind the eyes as "hairs".
Laterally, their feathers stick to your yoghurt cup. Here, a glue point reaches as far as possible at the top of the cup. If the feathers are longer than the cup is high, then they stand off a bit sideways.
Now put the bird on a branch, on the window sill or in a nice place in your room.
Have fun with the cheeky bird!
