This door wreath is made of a wooden or metal ring, which is wrapped with a thick bast. Then different branches, feathers and twigs are inserted and the ring is decorated. Enjoy crafting and designing!
First you wrap the bast around the ring.
To do this, you stick the beginning of the cord to the side edge in the middle of the frame with hot glue.
Attention when handling the hot glue - risk of injury!
Now you stretch the bast across the ring and put it under the frame.
Now tighten the cord and take it over the frame back to the other side.
There the cord is carried out under the frame again and brought back above.
Repeats this process several times, creating a broad network of basts.
Then you stick the end of the bast with hot glue under tension. Then you cut off the bast.
Now put different objects between the bands.
Idea:
First, push small branches - as when weaving - through the bands.
Then you shorten the branches as you like.
Tip: If green branches are added, the wreath looks fresher.
The branches can be very different in their type and length.
She then sticks the halves of empty and washed egg shells to the side of the bast.
Sticks on some feathers afterwards. These look very naturally beautiful and harmonious in combination with the egg shells.
Furthermore, snail houses or Easter eggs are suitable.
Find a nice place for the wreath or use it as a gift.
Stay creative!
