Stars are glued from newspaper snippets onto an empty masonry glass. With a mini-light chain, the table light / lantern is already ready. A simple and beautiful adventure!
Lay down a craft pad and paint a star about 5-6 centimetres tall. You will then snow it out.
You can also print and cut out the star template.
Place the star on the glass and surround it with the waterproof pen.
You now paint several stars around the glass.
On the first star you brush the paste. Afterwards you stick small snippets of newspaper into it.
As a base, a thin sponge or washcloth is suitable. Puts the glass on it slightly obliquely as shown. Thus, the glass does not slip away.
Over every glued snippet of newspaper you brush paste again. The edge of the star can be painted over with paste.
In this way, you shape every star with the snippets.
Then put the glass to dry.
If the newspaper is dried, you can decorate the glass.
Put a chain of lights in or around the glass and your starlight is ready.
You can add a few stars (streaky decoration stars) to the decoration around the glass.
With a chain of lights in the glass you can also place the starlight as decorative lighting in a planted flower pot.
Stay creative and try it out!
