This angular napkin ring is made of a cardboard roll (kloroll or kitchen roll). To get the roll angular, fold it over an edged wood. After that, paint a house on each side and cut the roll. After that, you paint windows and doors, cut them out or stick them on them. Coated with white paint, the napkin rings shine and stick off a dark napkin wonderfully.
Design your individual little Advent houses and set your table festively. A step by step guide will make it easier for you to craft these unique napkin rings.
First, look for a cardboard roll and an edged wood. The edged wood should be so large that you can push it into the cardboard roll.
Press the cardboard roll to the edge of the wood and bend the roll so that it becomes angular.
Now paint on each of the four sides a house with roof.
Cut off the cardboard roll at the tops of the roofs.
Now the cardboard roll looks like a crown.
Now paint with a pen windows and doors on the houses.
Paint the houses with white paint.
Then let the houses dry.
Choose whether to paint windows and doors with paint, cut them out or stick them on.
To cut out, a pointed scissors selects, so it is easier to pierce through the cardboard roll to cut out the windows.
An individually designed napkin ring is ready.
Tip: Matches the color of the napkins with that of windows and doors. This creates an exactly matched table decoration.
Now all you have to do is know how many guests are coming. Then you can make a napkin ring for each guest.
Enjoy your work!
