Snowman laying game

In this game with the snowman the cotton wool is placed on prepainted circles. The children can grab the cotton wool either with their hands or with a pastry plier.
In this game you train the concentration and tactile perception. The confrontation with Watte is a particularly interesting experience especially for crib children. Afterwards I have some variations and extended game ideas with this material.

1 Snowman template self-painting or printing
 WaddingOne Wattbausch per circle
 1 Pastry pliers
1 Bowl for the cotton swabs

1

First, you print out the Snowman template and possibly laminate it.
Alternatively, paint the snowman yourself in a similar way.
Tip: By laminating you can use the template more often, it is more durable.

2

Then provide cotton balls in a sufficient number in a bowl.
You'll need a cotton wadding for each painted circle.

3

Now the game can begin.
Shows the child the first time that he should put a cotton ball out of the bowl on a circle. Then let the child take out the cotton balls alone and lay them.

4

At first grab the cotton swabs with your fingers and make sure that the children do not break the cotton swab apart. The cotton swab should be treated carefully and fragilely, which trains the valuable handling of the material!
If the gripping is successful with your hands, then you can offer the pastry pliers for grabbing. Here, too, show the child how the handling works and let it try for yourself.

5

You can change the game with the snowman again and again.

Changes in the game due to new jobs:
6

- Put the cotton wool alternately on the snowman! Once the child and once the adults.
- Make a competition out of the laying game! For this each player gets a picture of the snowman and on a starting sign you place the cotton wool for the bet on it.
- Try to hold the cotton wool only with two fingers, for example with the two index fingers!
- Use two teaspoons to grab and let the cotton swabs move from one chair to another. On one chair you put the bowl with the cotton swab and on the other the snowman put it. The movement helps to increase concentration!
- When the snowman is laid, you try to blow the cotton wool away. Attention: This task is very difficult for crib children even too difficult.

Stay creative and change the material according to your own ideas.
Have fun!
