A wonderfully fragrant rose water is very refreshing on hot summer days. Children see how Mama uses her perfume and also want to smell good.

Rose petals clean up dirt and crawling animals. Then pick out unsightly petals.
Cut out the white ends of the petals with scissors. These can have bitter substances.
Fill rose petals into a glass pot.
Now pour with distilled water (i.e. boiled water, which has already cooled down again) and let it rest.
Close the water with a lid. Stir it occasionally with a spoon, so that all petals lie in the water.
After that, the rose petals can be poured (possibly pour through a coffee filter). Fill into a pump dispenser and add a few fresh flowers for decoration as desired.
Use the pump dispenser to pump onto your hand or onto a cotton pad. Then wet the skin, face or arms with it. You can use a refreshing rose water on hot days or as a "child perfume"!
Put clean rose petals in a heat-resistant jug.
Boil water with the kettle (or on the stove) and pour over the rose petals.
Cover with a lid/plate or similar and leave in the jug until the infusion is quite cooled down!
Drain through a sieve and, if necessary, pour through a coffee filter. A tea sieve or nut milk filter is also suitable. The rose blossom water should be filtered as finely as possible.
Now the rose blossom water can be filled into a pump dispenser. A fragrant deodorant or fresh rose water is ready. Attention: does not produce too large quantities, because the fragrant rose blossom water is only about 2 weeks long - since it is without additives. But maybe you need a small gift?
