Playing understand when we need a mouthguard and what for.
Media Education for Kindergarten and Hort
Relief in everyday life, targeted promotion of individual children, independent learning and - without any pre-knowledge already usable by the youngest!
Children ask in which activity we need a mouthguard or who wears everything a mouthguard. For example doctors, construction workers, knights, motorcyclists, pirates.
The children dress up and play with the mouthguard. In the game the children explain why, for example, a doctor wears a mouthguard (protection from bacteria and viruses), a knight (protection from injury), a motorcyclist (protection from the wind), etc.
By doing so, they understand how important a mouthguard can be.
As an important part of the game: Make sure that the children put the mouthguard on properly. Nose and chin must be covered. The children absolutely point out that they no longer touch the mouthguard after it is put on and that they do not grasp behind it.
It is also important that the mouthguard is washed regularly (at least at 60 degrees).
