This beautiful Easter egg is an upcyling project made of packaging cardboard. For this, rin egg is cut out and embroidered with a wool thread.
Also with colorful wool and coloured photo box this Easter decoration works. In any case a spring-like eye-catcher. See here in the guide how you have to proceed. Have fun!
First you paint an egg about 10cm in size on a black box or on a photo box. Then you cut out the egg.
Now you stash holes in the edge of the egg with a punched tong (smallest hole) or a pin at an even distance.
Then cut off a wool thread about 50cm long and thread it onto a pot needle (thick, blunt needle).
Start at the top of the egg and stick the needle from the back to the front through the top hole. Then pull the thread through the hole until only about 10cm in the back over stand.
Now you put the thread outwards and punch through the next hole with the needle from the back to the front. Pull the thread tightly and make sure that each thread is neat.
Repeat the process until the whole egg is edged with thread stitches. The last stitch passes through the first hole. Then you shorten the thread to the length of the initial thread and knot both pieces together. This creates the suspension for the egg at the same time.
Who likes to stitch another round with a second thread in a different color or with a similar color. Make sure that the two threads lie side by side.
For example, you can tie a small loop from the second thread.
Then, with a feather, she decorates the egg and then hangs it on a branch.
Alternatively, she uses the egg as a pendant for a gift.
Even without bow and feather, the egg is a beautiful and noble Easter decoration.
Tip: A bright Easter shrub can be decorated with colorful wool and coloured clay paper.
Have fun!
