Mini pepper vessels (2 variants)

From mini or snack paprikas we make small boats. The paprika halves are filled with herbal fresh cheese and get a small sail from half a cucumber slice or a salad leaf.
An idea for the next finger food buffet, a children's birthday party, the summer party, New Year's Eve or for a picnic.

Wash peppers

and then halve.

3

Cut the seeds and trunk out.

4

Fill the paprika halves with herb fresh cheese.
To do this, use either a rounded knife or a small spoon.

5

6

The cream cheese filling should be flush with the paprika cut edge.

7

Halve a thin slice of salad cucumber.

8

Spit a toothpick through the cucumber and put the longer piece of wood into the paprika boat. Stitch the toothpick to the lower end of the paprika half!

9

For serving, you can arrange the boats in an olive peel or place them on a sausage or cheese plate as decoration.
On a children's buffet certainly the eye-catcher!

Another idea:
10

Instead of a cucumber as a sail you can also span the sail with a small salad leaf.
Wash the lettuce leaf and pat dry.

11

Now put a toothpick (see picture) through the salad leaf.

12

Now put the salad leaf sail into the filled paprika boat.

13

14

Another variant is ready.

15

You can also use another cream cheese, it should only be creamy and can be painted well.
