Make your own tit dumplings

With these tit dumplings you can watch birds in winter at the feeding house. Do bird food balls with the children and hang them up in the garden. How can you do that? Look for yourself!
Younger children often have trouble forming the dumplings. For them we have a simple variant, which is suitable even for crib children already? Piston dumplings in screw-glass lid!
Have fun making and watching the birds!

1

First, get all the material.
Then you need a bowl in which you put a large tablespoon of fat. Divide the fat into smaller pieces. Put the fat briefly on the heater, and then press it together with a fork. It doesn't have to be porridge!

2

Now you need the bird food grains.

3

Start with a tablespoon of grains, which you mix into the fat. For this you press the grains with a fork into the fat.

4

Adds so many grains until a grain-rich mass is formed.

5

Now you may wear rubber gloves! Of course you can also work without rubber gloves.
Then you form a round dumpling from the grain mass with your hand.

6

Make sure you don't hold the dumpling too long in your hands, because that makes the fat softer and softer!

7

Now you need the onion net, a package line, a household rubber and scissors.

8

Now place the dumpling in the net. Make sure that you can put the net together in one place, so that the dumpling is stuck.

9

Then close the top end with a household rubber and cut off the overhanging net 1cm above the rubber.

10

Now tie a packing cord around the rubber and knot a loop. At this you can hang the tit dumpling on a branch in the garden.

11

Enjoy bird feeding and watching!
