Learn shapes and symbols (3 game ideas)

Children get to know different shapes and symbols by putting or painting them. Today I have some game ideas for you to put shapes for which you only need a few templates, a rope, stones or street chalk. Draw the templates and the kids can start. Have fun!

Lay shapes with a rope
3

The children pull a card, name the shape and put it down.

4

In some forms, such as 8 for example, the template is important, as the children often cannot yet put it out of memory.

5

The snail, on the other hand, can lay many children very quickly without a template.

6

The circle often becomes rounder with the help of the template.
We have found that the cards for the templates should not be too small.

Copying shapes with stones
7

The children are looking for stones.

8

The children pull a card, name the shape and put it back.
